Spinach Smoothie


Give yourself a break with this smoothie.  It has all the right ingredients to calm you down!

  • Spinach is a great source of magnesium, which may help promote a sense of calm.
  • Walnuts are an excellent source of tryptophan, an amino acid, which helps your body produce serotonin and melatonin.
  • Strawberries are rich in vitamin C, which may keep your immune system strong.
  • Carrots are high in fiber and carbohydrates, which may help boost serotonin levels.
  • Bananas contain potassium and B vitamins, which may aid in helping calm your nervous system.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Spinach, packed
  • 2 tbsp Walnuts
  • 3 Strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 Carrot, chopped
  • 1 Banana, sliced
  • 2 cups Water

Directions:

1. Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth.
